About the Contest
Each year, the
National Association of Conservation Districts (NACD) holds
a poster contest based on an annual stewardship theme.
The contest gives students a way to express their
views on natural resource issues through the medium of art.
The contest is open to students in grades K-12.
Students submit their posters to their local
conservation district, where posters are judged by age
group. The local
conservation district winners then move onto the state
contest, where winners are selected from each state to move
onto the National Competition.
